“I’m a photojournalist. I tell stories with my images. To me a simple, elegant photo speaks volumes. My favorite photographic tools are black & white film and a 35mm camera. Black & white photography is a medium that interacts with the viewer, we each interpret B&W images in our own way. A good quality 35mm camera lets me work quickly and capture the “decisive moments” that bring the subject’s personality into the photo. People are my best subjects--I like landscape and still life images, but people will always be my best subjects.
